Black Celebration are THE Depeche Mode tribute band to see live. They are not Karaoke, they don't sample huge sections of the original artists tracks as backing and they don't just show up and play... Black Celebration are true performers. Each track lovingly analysed and recreated from scratch. A true insight into the love this band show for the incredible DEPECHE MODE.

And live....well what can you say....there are few bands that perform with the passion and intensity that Black Celebration generate during their shows. If you see one Depeche tribute in your life...it has to be the definitive tribute to Depeche Mode. They have to be seen to be believed!

5th April 2014 - Pretentious, Moi? + Scorpion Stare + Isolation Division

Pretentious, Moi? is the legendary UK based goth supergroup featuring members of Manuskript, Dream Disciples, Die Laughing and Sins Of The Flesh. Created as a solo project by Tim Chandler in 1994, the live band now includes some of the best known musicians in the contemporary UK gothic scene.

The development of the solo project into a fully fledged band is only a recent one, as the original project was not intended to be publicly released in any big way. Heavily inspired by 90s German and British goth, Pretentious, Moi? have all the classic elements but with a contemporary feel that is very relevant. This is a very rare chance to see the band live!

Scorpion Stare are a new band rising from the ashes of Flock favourites Violet Vortex, who play dark gothic rock with a industrial twist. In their current incarnation the band have only played a handful of live shows, so this is an excellent opportunity to check them out... in the meantime you can hear one of their new tracks on their reverbnation page.

Isolation Division started life as the solo project of Mat Thorpe. In 2013 Mat was joined by Natasha, Steve and Warren to become a fully formed live band. The debut CD "Sotto Voce" received favourable reviews across Europe and the USA and the band are currently recording a follow up for release in 2014: "Sotto Voce is an incredible CD that becomes more profound with each listen. The arrangements are masterfully done, and each song is mesmerizing in it’s own way. Highly recommended for fans of post-punk, Indie, and anyone who appreciates well crafted music." – Midnight Calling.
