28th January 2012 - Rome Burns + The Marching Men
Rome Burns weave art, electronic rhythms and live instruments to produce a complex post-punk tapestry. Described by Mercer as the UK's most charming Goth band, he continues "their music can at times be rawly invigorating while at others takes on a more soothing glow, dazzling you with restraint and the best lyrics in the UK Goth scene". Since the release of acclaimed second album "The Static Murmur" the band have become geographically dispersed and seldom play live, so this is a very rare chance to see them live in Leeds.
The Marching Men The Marching Men cover a myriad of tracks from the Sisters arsenal, with a rocket-propelled drum track, trained attack guitars and vocal airstrikes.

4th February 2012 - Cold In Berlin + Terminal Gods
Cold In Berlin are translators of our imploding society. The Artrocker favourites' new single (produced by James Aparicio whose credits include Depeche Mode, Nick Cave and Liars) fills the void between post punk and grunge. Capturing the bands raw dynamics, "The Lie" combines hard as nails guitar, moody tribal drums and Maya's pointed lyrics picking away at life on the fringes of society. Notorious for their riotous and wild live performances, the East London band have an incendiary energy reminiscent of early grunge and even earlier no-wave, like Siouxsie Sioux smacking you in the face with a Mudhoney record.
Terminal Gods formed in the summer of 2011. They quickly released a self produced demo EP, stocks of which quickly depleted. The band have been playing live on a regular basis in some of the dodgiest dive bars in London (not to mention an incredible performance at Flock last October), playing songs that combine an air of swaggering rock’n’roll machismo with aloof post-punk melodrama, all the while maintaining an amount of wry pop sensibility. The band's fortunes are steadily on the rise and 2012 foretells the release of their first single and plenty more live audio warfare.

3rd March 2012 - Rhombus + Grooving In Green
Rhombus play unashamed goth rock of the late 80s vintage, with "swirly top-end guitar sounds, strong bass and distinctive male vocals that are reminiscent of early Rosetta Stone" (Kaleidoscope). Rhombus play tight, tense, driven songs that are nevertheless so catchy you'll find yourself singing them on your way home!
Grooving In Green features original Children On Stun members Pete and Si, both of whom consider the band to be a continuation of the Overland era of Stun. Now joined on vocals by Tron (ex Solemn Novena), their live set is made up of Stun classics (up to and including Overland) and new material in the same spirit.

7th April 2012 - Zeitgeist Zero "The Blackout" EP Launch + Alice Moving Under Skies
Zeitgeist Zero are one of the most exciting and original bands in the alternative music scene. Simultaneously jaunty and jaundiced, the band combines synthesizers with the more human elements of guitars, melodic piano and passionate female vocals. Often compared to Blondie and Garbage, the band play edgy, progressive music with a rock 'n' roll attitude.
Alice Moving Under Skies play hard glam-goth rock underpinned by pulsating darkwave beats held together with a Victorian sensibility. Their greatest asset is singer Penny Dreadful’s impressive vocal range, while their polished sound recalls the decadence of Faith And The Muse with raw guitars added in for good measure. (Sphere)

2nd June 2012 - Inkubus Sukkubus: Exclusive Acoustic & Electric Show
This is an exclusive show featuring the band effectively supporting themselves, playing two sets. The first will be a very rare chance to hear a set of their songs performed in an all-acoustic style. The second set will feature the bands' usual full electric show.
Inkubus Sukkubus should need no introduction, being the UK's foremost pagan rock band, with a musical alchemy that touches folk and classical alongside more rock and gothic elements. If you could imagine Fleetwood Mac melded with Sleeping Dogs Wake with a touch of the Sisters' grandiose orchestrations you would get pretty close to their raison d'être. One of the most popular bands to play at Flock, we're incredibly pleased to welcome Inkubus Sukkubus back to Leeds.
Please note!
The doors for this show are 7pm and the first set from Inkubus Sukkubus will start at 7:30pm
